They put the NIE request in online, so anyone flying in from the other side of the world can reach Menorca with the number already settled instead of spending a first week on it.

Tell us where you are in your move and we will tell you, plainly, which documents you need. We complete the EX-15, the Modelo 790-012 and every other form correctly the first time.
On a small island the slots are few. We keep a steady eye on the Menorca appointment system and take the first valid one, so you never sit refreshing the official portal.
When the appointment comes, we come with you to the Maó office so the visit is calm and unhurried, and you leave with your NIE sorted.
Menorca's quiet beaches and biosphere-reserve calm draw people looking for a slower life. The island's small administration, though, means appointments are precious and easily missed.
Our local team handles foreigner documentation across the island. We prepare your file for the Maó office and make sure nothing is sent back for a missing stamp.

The cita previa, the documentación, the Oficina de Extranjería — answered.
The asignación de NIE on Menorca follows the national route: complete the EX-15 form, pay the Modelo 790-012 tasa, hold a cita previa at the Oficina de Extranjería in Maó, and present your documentación and pasaporte at the appointment. We carry the solicitud and the trámite from beginning to end. Those who would rather not set foot in the oficina at all can have Gestoraz put the same solicitud in from a distance.
On Menorca the NIE and residencia procedures are dealt with at the Oficina de Extranjería in Maó (administraciones públicas). Its dirección and teléfono sit on our contact page, ready to open in Google Maps. As ever, each trámite calls for a cita previa.
You request the cita previa online via the sede electrónica of the administraciones públicas (and by teléfono or SMS for certain trámites). Slots for Menorca are very few and go in moments, so we keep watch on the extranjería system and lock in your cita for you.
The documentos necesarios are: the EX-15 solicitud, your pasaporte or DNI with a copy, proof of why you are applying, the paid Modelo 790-012, and at times a certificado de empadronamiento or carta de invitación. We will set out the exact list for your own case on Menorca.
A renovación needs a fresh cita previa at the extranjería oficina in Maó, the renewal solicitud, updated documentación and the relevant certificados. We manage the whole renovación so nothing on the island slips out of date.
The horario of the Oficina de Extranjería in Maó tends to be mornings, Monday to Friday, with atención al público by cita previa only. Do check the precise hours and servicio details on our contact page before any consulta.
